Flying to Philadelphia
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)
Overview
The Philadelphia International Airport (Airport Code: PHL) is 38 minutes from Lower Bucks Hospital, Bristol, PA. There are a few options for transportation: taking the SEPTA R3/R7 (respectively) Regional Rail trains, taking a taxi, or renting a vehicle.Surgery Patients
We recommend flight insurance in case there are delays with the flight or a rescheduling outside the control of Papillon Center. It is also important to inform Papillon Center of any hold-ups during the flight.Other Visits
If it is necessary to fly to Pennsylvania and visit Papillon Center for non-surgical reasons clients may use the SEPTA Regional Rail system for transportation to Bensalem. There is a station at the airport for access to the R1 line. After arriving in Philadelphia it is important to find an R3 train that is going to West Trenton. The station to get off at is Trevose. The trip will take approximately one to two hours depending on how long the wait is between trains. For more information and to download brochures, please visit SEPTA. The cost for a one way trip from the airport to Bensalem/Trevose will be approximately $11.00 not including cab fare, though it may be slightly more if you are traveling during the evening.Upon arriving at Bristol, please call a local cab service (It is recommended you print this directory of services for reference).
Car rentals are available at the airport as well. Please inquire at the airport for more information, or book ahead of time by selecting a provider from the Philadelphia International Airport website.
